Ingredients
  

Main Component
  • 8 oz feta cheese block feta preferred
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional Garnish
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs parsley or dill
  • crushed red pepper flakes optional

Equipment

  • food processor
  • Spatula
  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Break feta cheese into chunks and place into a food processor.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, honey, and black pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides if needed.
  4. Adjust consistency with additional olive oil or yogurt if necessary.
  5. Transfer dip to a serving bowl and garnish with olive oil, herbs, or chili flakes.

Notes

For best flavor use block feta packed in brine and blend until fully smooth.
