Watermelon Mint Juice

Ingredients
  

Main Component
  • 4 cups watermelon cubed and seeds removed
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 8 leaves fresh mint
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Optional Sweetener
  • 1-2 tsp honey optional
  • 1 cup cold water optional for thinner juice

Equipment

  • fine mesh strainer
  • pitcher

Method
 

  1. Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove seeds if necessary.
  2. Add the watermelon, mint leaves, lime juice, honey, and ice cubes to a blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until completely smooth.
  4. Add cold water if you prefer a thinner juice and blend again briefly.
  5. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.
  6. Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with mint leaves or watermelon slices.

Notes

Use chilled watermelon for the most refreshing flavor. Taste before adding sweetener since ripe watermelon is naturally sweet.
