Ingredients
  

Salsa Base
  • 6 Roma tomatoes diced
  • 1/2 red onion finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper seeded and minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro chopped
Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin optional

Method
 

  1. Dice the tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add chopped onion, jalapeño, garlic, and cilantro.
  3. Stir in lime juice, salt, pepper, olive oil, and cumin.
  4. Mix gently and let the salsa rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately or chill before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving. Use firmer tomatoes to avoid watery salsa.
