Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt chocolate and butter until smooth, then cool slightly.
- Beat eggs and sugars until pale and fluffy.
- Mix in vanilla and melted chocolate.
- Whisk dry ingredients separately and fold into wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips and chill batter for 30 minutes.
- Scoop onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until tops are crackled.
- Cool on pan for 10 minutes before transferring.
Notes
For the fudgiest centers, slightly underbake and allow cookies to finish setting on the baking sheet.
