- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Spread lemon pie filling into the baking dish and stir in lemon zest and lemon juice.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the lemon filling without stirring.
- Mix vanilla into melted butter and drizzle evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and bubbling around the edges.
- Cool slightly before serving with whipped cream or ice cream.
