- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Layer half the bread and strawberries, then repeat with remaining bread and berries.
- Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour custard over bread and gently press to soak.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Top with crumb mixture and bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes.
Notes
For best texture, use day-old brioche and allow the casserole to rest before serving.
