  • 500 g strawberries sliced
  • 2 cups custard chilled
  • 2 cups heavy cream cold
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Macerate strawberries with sugar and let sit for 20 minutes.
  2. Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  3. Layer cake, strawberries, custard, and cream in a trifle dish, repeating layers and chilling before serving.

Notes

Chill for at least 4 hours for best flavor and texture.
