Method
- Blend strawberries with 1/2 cup water until smooth to create a strawberry puree.
- Strain the puree into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
- Add fresh lemon juice, remaining water, and sugar or honey to the pitcher. Stir until dissolved.
- Lightly bruise basil leaves and add them to the lemonade to infuse flavor for 10–15 minutes.
- Add ice and stir well, then serve in glasses garnished with lemon slices, strawberries, and basil.
Notes
For a sparkling version, replace half the water with sparkling water. Adjust sweetness depending on the ripeness of strawberries.
