Method
- Warm the milk and combine it with sugar and yeast. Let sit until foamy.
- Mix eggs, butter, salt, yeast mixture, and flour to form a soft dough. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
- Roll dough into a rectangle and spread with softened butter.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 rolls.
- Place rolls into a greased baking dish and let rise again until puffy.
- Bake at 350°F for 22–28 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and spread over warm rolls.
Notes
For extra soft cinnamon rolls, avoid adding too much flour and do not overbake.
