Ingredients
  

Chipotle Mayo Base
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp adobo sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice fresh
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Optional Additions
  • 1 tsp honey optional
  • 1 tbsp cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Finely chop the chipotle peppers or blend them for a smoother sauce.
  2. In a bowl combine mayonnaise, chopped chipotle peppers, and adobo sauce.
  3. Add garlic, lime juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning or spice level.
  6. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

For a smoother restaurant-style sauce, blend all ingredients in a small food processor.
