Ingredients
  

Meat Filling
  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 carrots diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Mashed Potatoes
  • 2 lbs potatoes peeled
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup milk

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • Baking dish
  • Potato masher

Method
 

  1. Boil potatoes until tender and mash with butter and milk.
  2. Cook onion, garlic, and lamb until browned.
  3. Add vegetables, tomato paste, broth, and seasonings. Simmer.
  4. Transfer filling to baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
  5. Bake until golden and bubbly.

Notes

For extra flavor add cheese on top before baking.
