Ingredients
  

Main Salsa
  • 5 ripe tomatoes diced
  • 1 red onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 jalapeños chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
Optional Additions
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp sugar

Method
 

  1. Dice tomatoes and finely chop onion, garlic, jalapeños, and cilantro.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper, then mix well.
  4. Let salsa rest for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Adjust spice level by removing jalapeño seeds. Letting the salsa rest enhances flavor.
