  • 1 tsp red chili flakes adjust to taste
  • 400 g crushed tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Sauté garlic in olive oil, add chili flakes, then stir in crushed tomatoes and seasonings.
  3. Simmer sauce, toss with pasta, adjust consistency with pasta water, and garnish before serving.

Notes

Adjust chili flakes to control heat. Use high-quality tomatoes for best flavor.
