  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour optional
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup orange juice fresh
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Topping
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and prepare a lined cake pan.
  2. Whisk eggs and sugar, then mix in butter, orange juice, zest, and vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and fold into wet mixture.
  4. Pour batter into pan, top with almonds, and bake for 35–40 minutes.
  5. Cool completely, dust with sugar, and serve.

Notes

Use fresh oranges for best flavor. Avoid overbaking to maintain moisture.
