Ingredients
  

Main Component
  • 12 mozzarella sticks
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1.5 cups breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs
Seasoning & Extras
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • marinara sauce for serving

Method
 

  1. Freeze mozzarella sticks for at least 1–2 hours before breading.
  2. Coat in flour, dip in egg mixture, and roll in breadcrumb mixture.
  3. Repeat coating process for a double layer, then freeze again for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with marinara sauce.

Notes

Always freeze before frying to prevent cheese from leaking. Double coating ensures maximum crispiness.
