- Freeze mozzarella sticks for at least 1–2 hours before breading.
- Coat in flour, dip in egg mixture, and roll in breadcrumb mixture.
- Repeat coating process for a double layer, then freeze again for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry until golden brown, about 1–2 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with marinara sauce.
Notes
