- Place mint leaves in a pitcher and gently crush them with a spoon or muddler to release their aroma.
- Add fresh lemon juice, sugar, and honey to the pitcher and stir until the sugar begins dissolving.
- Pour in cold water and stir well to combine the ingredients.
- Add crushed ice and mix gently.
- Taste the drink and adjust sweetness or lemon juice if needed.
- Serve in glasses over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint sprigs.
Notes
For a fizzy variation replace half of the water with sparkling water. Adjust sweetness depending on lemon tartness.
