Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling
  • 2 cups ground chicken
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger minced
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
Assembly
  • 24 samosa wrappers
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp water for sealing paste
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a skillet and sauté onions until soft.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Add ground chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in spices and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, mix in cilantro, and let filling cool.
  6. Cut wrappers into strips and prepare flour paste.
  7. Place filling in wrapper strip and fold into triangles.
  8. Seal edges with flour paste.
  9. Heat oil to 350°F and fry samosas until golden.
  10. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake the samosas at 375°F for 18–20 minutes or air fry until crispy.
