Method
 

  1. Peel and cut the carrots into evenly sized pieces.
  2. Boil carrots in salted water for 5–6 minutes until just tender, then drain.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter and stir in maple syrup and brown sugar.
  4. Add carrots to the skillet and toss to coat in the glaze.
  5. Cook for 5–8 minutes until glaze thickens and coats the carrots.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Use real maple syrup for the best flavor and avoid overcooking carrots to maintain texture.
