  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice about 4–6 lemons
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain one cup of juice and remove seeds.
  2. Heat sugar with one cup of water until dissolved to make simple syrup, then cool.
  3. Mix lemon juice, syrup, and remaining water in a pitcher, stir well, add ice, and serve.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to taste and experiment with flavors like mint, strawberry, or sparkling water.
