- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in lemon zest, juice, and vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk until combined.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 45–55 minutes.
- Cool completely on wire rack.
- Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled loaf.
