Ingredients
  

Puff Pastry Towers
  • 2 sheets puff pastry thawed
  • 8 slices ham deli style
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
Egg Wash
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp water
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into equal squares.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard onto half the pastry squares.
  4. Layer ham and cheese over the pastry squares.
  5. Top with additional pastry squares to create towers.
  6. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with seasonings.
  7. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Keep puff pastry cold before baking for maximum rise and flakiness.
