- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and chili flakes in a bowl.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook salmon fillets for 4–5 minutes on the first side until golden.
- Flip the salmon and cook another 2–3 minutes.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet and spoon it over the salmon continuously.
- Add cornstarch slurry if desired and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with parsley, sesame seeds, and lemon wedges before serving.
Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh garlic and avoid overcooking the salmon. The glaze thickens quickly as it cools.
