Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and black pepper to taste
Honey Garlic Glaze
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce low sodium
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp grated ginger optional
  • 1 tsp cornstarch optional for thickening
  • 2 tbsp water for cornstarch slurry
  • sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and ginger in a bowl.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook salmon skin-side down for 4–5 minutes until crispy, then flip and cook another 3–4 minutes.
  5. Pour glaze into the pan and spoon over salmon as it simmers.
  6. Add cornstarch slurry if thicker sauce is desired and cook 1–2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve hot.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or saltiness to taste by modifying honey and soy sauce ratios.
