Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix the spices in a bowl and coat the drumsticks with olive oil and seasoning.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat and oil the grates.
  4. Cook over indirect heat for 20 minutes, turning often.
  5. Move to direct heat and grill 10 to 15 minutes until charred and cooked through.
  6. Drizzle with lemon juice, rest for 5 minutes, garnish, and serve.

Notes

For extra smoky flavor, use charcoal instead of a gas grill.
