Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp thyme chopped
  • 1 tsp rosemary finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Optional
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Soften the butter at room temperature until easy to mix.
  2. Mince garlic and finely chop all herbs.
  3. Mix butter, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until fully combined.
  4. Shape into a log using parchment paper and twist ends tightly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
  6. Slice and serve as desired.

Notes

For a milder garlic flavor, use roasted garlic instead of raw. Freeze slices for easy portioning.
