- Wash and zest one lemon before juicing enough lemons to yield one cup of juice.
- Combine sugar, honey, and cold water in a bowl and stir until mostly dissolved.
- Add frozen strawberries, lemon juice, sweetened water mixture, lemon zest, and ice cubes to a blender.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and slushy.
- Adjust thickness with extra water or ice if needed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness before serving.
- Pour into chilled glasses, garnish as desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
For the best texture, use frozen strawberries and chilled glasses. Add sparkling water for a fizzy variation.
