Ingredients
  

French Toast
  • 8 slices brioche bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter
Berry Topping
  • 1 cup strawberries sliced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method
 

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Dip each bread slice into the custard mixture for 15 seconds per side.
  3. Cook the bread in a buttered skillet over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Toss berries with honey and spoon over the warm French toast.
  5. Serve with powdered sugar and maple syrup.

Notes

Use slightly stale brioche for the best texture and avoid oversoaking the bread.
