Ingredients
  

Main Pasta
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan cheese freshly grated
Seasoning & Garnish
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg optional
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, then reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet, sauté garlic, then add cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  3. Stir in Parmesan cheese, season, then toss pasta with sauce and serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan and reserved pasta water for the best creamy texture.
