Hot Honey Ground Beef
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp hot honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cucumber sliced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. Cook rice according to package directions and keep warm.
  2. Whisk together hot honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and seasonings.
  3. Brown ground beef in olive oil until fully cooked.
  4. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour in sauce and simmer until glossy and slightly thickened.
  6. Assemble bowls with rice, beef, vegetables, and garnishes.

Notes

For extra flavor, drizzle additional hot honey over the finished bowls before serving.
