- Cook onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
- Brown ground beef and stir in marinara sauce and seasonings. Simmer 15 minutes.
- Mix ricotta, egg, parsley, and salt.
- Layer sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and parmesan repeatedly.
- Bake covered at 375°F for 25 minutes, then uncovered for 20 minutes.
- Rest 15 minutes before serving.
