Ingredients

  • 2 cans chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder optional
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Drain, rinse, and thoroughly dry chickpeas.
  3. Toss chickpeas with olive oil and seasonings until evenly coated.
  4. Spread chickpeas in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25–35 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Cool slightly before serving for maximum crispiness.

Notes

For extra crunch, dry chickpeas thoroughly and avoid overcrowding the pan.
