  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 chicken breasts diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook diced chicken until golden and fully cooked.
  2. Remove chicken, sauté garlic, then toast the orzo in the same skillet.
  3. Add chicken broth and simmer until orzo is tender.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and cook briefly.
  6. Mix in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice and zest for the brightest flavor. Add vegetables like spinach or asparagus for extra nutrition.
