Ingredients
  

Smoothie Base
  • 2 ripe bananas peeled
  • 4 Medjool dates pitted
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey optional
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter optional
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Soak the dates in warm water for 5 minutes if they are firm.
  2. Add bananas, dates, milk, yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and ice to a blender.
  3. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Adjust thickness with extra milk if needed.
  5. Pour into glasses, garnish with banana slices or cinnamon, and serve immediately.

Notes

Freeze bananas beforehand for an extra thick smoothie texture.
