Ingredients
  

Milkshake Base
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream slightly softened
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk canned
  • 1 cup whole milk cold
  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes
Toppings
  • whipped cream for garnish
  • toasted coconut flakes for garnish
  • maraschino cherries optional

Method
 

  1. Toast the shredded coconut in a dry skillet over medium-low heat until golden and fragrant.
  2. Add vanilla ice cream, coconut milk, whole milk, shredded coconut, honey, vanilla extract, and ice cubes to a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, thick, and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency if needed.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses and top with whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes.
  6. Serve immediately while cold and frosty.

Notes

For an extra tropical flavor, blend in frozen pineapple chunks or use coconut ice cream.
