Ingredients
  

Main Dip Base
  • 3 ripe avocados halved and pitted
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional Flavor Add-Ins
  • 1 jalapeƱo finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • fork or potato masher
  • food processor

Method
 

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl or food processor.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mash or blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional lime juice or salt if needed.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with cilantro or diced avocado, and serve with chips or vegetables.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe avocados and fresh lime juice. To prevent browning, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip before refrigerating.
