Chicken and Pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
Cowboy Butter Sauce
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp chives chopped
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions and add broccoli during the final 3 minutes.
  2. Season and sear chicken until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Prepare cowboy butter sauce in the skillet using butter, garlic, mustard, lemon, herbs, and spices.
  4. Add chicken, pasta, and broccoli to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Adjust seasoning, garnish, and serve hot.

Notes

Reserve pasta water to create a silky restaurant-style sauce.
