Ingredients
  

Main Oats Base
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk any type
  • 1/2 cup yogurt optional
  • 1 medium apple diced
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
Optional Toppings
  • apple slices
  • chopped nuts
  • granola

Equipment

  • mixing bowl or jar
  • Spoon
  • airtight container

Method
 

  1. Combine oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl or jar.
  2. Add milk, yogurt, honey, and vanilla, then mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in diced apples and transfer to airtight containers.
  4. Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  5. Stir, adjust consistency if needed, add toppings, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, sauté apples with cinnamon before adding. Adjust sweetness to taste.
