Chicken Filling
  • 500 g ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup carrots shredded
  • 0.5 cup mushrooms finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey optional
Assembly
  • 1 head lettuce leaves separated
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Wash and separate lettuce leaves, then pat dry.
  2. Cook ground chicken in a skillet with olive oil until browned.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, onion, and vegetables; cook until softened.
  4. Stir in sauces and seasonings, then simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Spoon mixture into lettuce leaves and garnish before serving.
