Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded
  • 1.5 cups corn kernels
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
Thickening & Flavor
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions chopped

Method
 

  1. Bring chicken broth to a boil and add garlic and ginger.
  2. Add shredded chicken and corn, then simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add cornstarch slurry while stirring to thicken.
  5. Slowly drizzle in beaten eggs while stirring to form ribbons.
  6. Finish with sesame oil and garnish with green onions.

Notes

For best flavor, use homemade broth and fresh corn when possible.
