Pasta and Chicken
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast diced or shredded
Alfredo Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg optional
Topping
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup extra Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and nutmeg.
  7. Add cooked chicken and mix until fully coated in sauce.
  8. Combine pasta with the sauce and transfer to the baking dish.
  9. Top with mozzarella and extra Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  11. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan and add vegetables like broccoli or spinach if desired.
