Ingredients
  

Waffle Sandwiches
  • 8 prepared waffles homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar for garnish
Caramel Cream Filling
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce thick
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Whip cream, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until soft peaks form.
  2. Add caramel sauce gradually and whip to medium-stiff peaks.
  3. Toast waffles if needed and allow to cool completely.
  4. Spread caramel cream onto four waffles and top with remaining waffles.
  5. Chill for 20 minutes before serving.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with caramel sauce.

Notes

For the fluffiest filling, chill the bowl and beaters before whipping the cream.
