  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups water or chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add rice and toast briefly, then add liquid, seasoning, and cook covered until tender. Fluff and serve.

Notes

Use broth instead of water for richer flavor. Avoid overcooking garlic to prevent bitterness.
