Ingredients
  

Blueberry Syrup
  • 2 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 cup water
Tea Base
  • 3 cups water boiling
  • 3-4 bags black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • ice cubes
  • mint leaves optional garnish

Method
 

  1. Combine blueberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan and simmer until berries burst.
  2. Mash and strain the mixture to create a smooth blueberry syrup.
  3. Brew tea bags in hot water, then remove and cool.
  4. Mix tea, blueberry syrup, and lemon juice in a pitcher.
  5. Chill, then serve over ice with lemon slices and garnish.

Notes

Use fresh lemons for best flavor and adjust sweetness to preference. Try sparkling water for a fizzy version.
