  • 500 g beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 2 green onions chopped
Stir Fry Sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp cornstarch

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Whisk together all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a wok and sear beef until browned, then remove.
  4. Stir fry garlic, ginger, and vegetables until crisp-tender.
  5. Return beef, add sauce, and cook until thickened.
  6. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Slice beef against the grain for tenderness and cook on high heat for best results.
