Ingredients
  

Main Sauce
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Optional Additions
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chili powder optional

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add tomato paste and cook for 2–3 minutes, then mix in water, vinegar, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, honey, spices, and simmer for 15–20 minutes until thickened. Cool before serving.

Notes

Adjust sweetness, tanginess, or spice level to taste. Store refrigerated for up to one week.
