Ingredients
  

Banana Bread Batter
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas and mix with butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and milk.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and fold into wet ingredients.
  4. Add optional walnuts or chocolate chips.
  5. Pour into pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

For best flavor, use bananas with heavily spotted peels.
