Ingredients
  

Banana Bread Batter
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 ripe bananas mashed
  • 0.25 cup milk or yogurt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  5. Stir in mashed bananas.
  6. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture alternating with milk.
  7. Pour batter into pan and smooth top.
  8. Bake 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan 10 minutes then transfer to rack to cool fully.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor and sweetness.
