  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place tilapia in dish and coat with marinade.
  4. Top with lemon slices and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Do not overcook the fish; it should flake easily with a fork. Fresh lemon enhances flavor significantly.
