  • 12 jalapeños halved and deseeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 12 slices thin-cut bacon cut in half
Seasonings
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Halve and deseed jalapeños.
  3. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, and seasonings until smooth.
  4. Fill jalapeños with cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each with bacon and place seam-side down.
  6. Bake 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy.

Notes

For extra crispy bacon, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end of cooking.
