Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 1 head romaine lettuce washed and chopped
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
Dressing
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry the romaine lettuce, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place lettuce in a large bowl and pour dressing over it.
  4. Toss well to coat all leaves evenly.
  5. Add grated parmesan cheese and toss lightly again.
  6. Garnish with lemon zest and extra parmesan if desired and serve immediately.
